Brett Lawrie - 3B - Toronto Blue Jays

Brett Lawrie is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Lawrie lost his composure following a called third strike call Tuesday by flinging his helmet, which inadvertently hit home plate umpire Bill Miller. He'll remain in the lineup for now, but a suspension is almost certainly coming soon.

Freddie Freeman - 1B - Atlanta Braves

Freddie Freeman (eye) is back in Wednesday's lineup.

Freeman sat out Tuesday's game for precautionary reasons due to a slight corneal abrasion in his right eye. It shouldn't be an issue moving forward.

Justin Morneau - DH - Minnesota Twins

Twins activated 1B Justin Morneau from the 15-day disabled list.

Morneau spent the minimum 15 days on the disabled list while nursing soreness in his surgically-repaired right wrist. He is expected to play first base upon his return. The 31-year-old owns a .230/.313/.459 batting line to go along with four home runs and nine RBI over 83 plate appearances this season.

Vance Worley - S - Philadelphia Phillies

Phillies placed RHP Vance Worley on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 12, with right elbow inflammation.

The severity of the injury isn't yet known, but Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said there should be more information on his status Wednesday. Worley, 24, has a 3.07 ERA and 45/15 K/BB ratio over his first seven starts this season. Kyle Kendrick will take his place in the starting rotation for now.

Jason Bay - OF - New York Mets

Mets manager Terry Collins indicated Tuesday that Jason Bay (rib) will get his starting left field job back when he returns from the disabled list.

"Absolutely," said Collins. "He didn't come here to be an extra player." Bay was recently cleared for baseball activities, but is likely about 10 days to two weeks away from coming off the disabled list. We think a platoon with rookie Kirk Nieuwenhuis is inevitable, but the Mets will at least give Bay an opportunity to keep his job. The 33-year-old was hitting .240 with three homers and a .776 OPS over his first 50 at-bats prior to suffering a non-displaced fractured rib on April 23.

Wei-Yin Chen - S - Baltimore Orioles

Wei-Yin Chen continued his strong start to the season on Tuesday, allowing just two runs on four hits over seven innings in a win against the Yankees.

Chen walked two and struck out four in the game. The lone blemish on his night was a two-run homer surrendered to Curtis Granderson in the seventh inning. With the victory, Chen improves to 4-0 on the season and now sports an impressive 2.45 ERA. He'll look to keep the momentum going when he takes on the Nationals in Washington on Sunday. At this point, the left-hander should be owned and started in most mixed fantasy leagues.

Stephen Strasburg - S - Washington Nationals

Stephen Strasburg was bothered by stray Hot Stuff in his groin during Tuesday's loss to the Padres.

Hot Stuff is an analgesic ointment like Icy-Hot that is often used as a muscle-loosener. But it can cause quite a bit of pain when applied to ... more sensitive skin. "I can't really tell you what the problem was, but some Hot Stuff got misplaced," manager Davey Johnson said. "It was on his shoulder and evidently ' I don't know how it got to where it got, but it was uncomfortable, to say the least." Strasburg allowed four runs in four innings.
