Danny Granger - F - Indiana Pacers

Larry Bird has been named the NBA's Executive of the Year.

Bird becomes the first person in history to ever win an MVP award, Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year. He's done a great job of building Indiana's roster and deserves the honor this season.

Kendrick Perkins - C - Oklahoma City Thunder

There is still no update on the status of Kendrick Perkins (hip) for Game 2 against the Lakers.

We should have an update closer to tipoff, but he was listed as a game-time call on Tuesday, indicating that Oklahoma City will take its time in deciding whether Big Perk will play. If he's unable to suit up, Nazr Mhoammed will draw the start in his place.

Tim Duncan - F/C - San Antonio Spurs

Tim Duncan posted his 133rd playoff double-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in Tuesday's easy 108-92 Game 1 win over the Clippers.

Tony Parker struggled with seven points on 1-of-9 shooting, but did have 11 assists in the win, while Manu Ginobili scored 22 points with three assists and three 3-pointers. The Spurs didn't pull away until late, but they look nearly unbeatable right now, getting contributions from across the board, while DeJuan Blair only got one minute of garbage time off the bench in this one.

LeBron James had 28 points, nine rebounds, five assists and six steals on Tuesday, but didn't hit a 3-pointer, missed a couple crucial, late free throws, and deferred to Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers on the Heat's final two possessions of the game.

Paul George missed two free throws for the Pacers, and then LeBron backed it up by missing two of his own, that would have given the Heat the lead. He then passed to Wade (24 points) for a late layup, but Wade was unable to convert. And on the game's final possession, both James and Wade (double teamed) looked for the open man and found Chalmers for a potential game-tying 3-pointer. Chalmers, who was, ahem, 2-of-10 from the floor and 0-for-4 from downtown for the night, missed the open look as the Pacers stole homecourt. Prepare yourselves for endless talk of choking, and keep in mind that without Chris Bosh (abdomen), the third-leading scorers for the Heat tonight were Chalmers and Shane Battier, who each scored five points. Uh oh.

David West - F - Indiana Pacers

David West hit 5-of-13 shots for 16 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in 41 minutes as the Pacers shocked the Heat in Miami to steal homecourt with a 78-75 Game 2 win.

Both teams played a sloppy first half and missed a ton of clutch free throws down the stretch, but the Pacers, who were led by West's 16, will take the win any way they can get it. Game 3 is Thursday in Indy, and West should have his way again, as Chris Bosh (abdomen) will not play in this series.

Kendrick Perkins - C - Oklahoma City Thunder

Kendrick Perkins (hip) is listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Lakers.

Perkins aggravated his hip strain during Game 1, playing just 17 minutes in the blowout. The Thunder will likely take their enforcer's status right up until tip Wednesday night, with Nick Collison and Nazr Mohammed as backup plans. It's worth noting that Perkins was reportedly cleared to re-enter Game 1 if needed. However, he did not practice Tuesday.

Ronny Turiaf - F/C - Miami Heat

Ronny Turiaf will start in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Pacers.

With Chris Bosh (abdominal) out indefinitely, the Heat are announcing their starting lineup on a game-to-game basis. Starter Udonis Haslem will see a boost in minutes along with Joel Anthony. LeBron James will also spend plenty of time as a power forward when the Heat go small. In five starts during the regular season, Turiaf averaged 4.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
