The Anaheim Ducks are 11-2-2 in their last 15 games.
Anaheim is still eight points out of a playoff spot and there odds of overcoming that gap are extremely slim. Still, at least their is hope for the Ducks were there was none before. The Ducks second half performance might motivate GM Bob Murray to stay quiet during the 2012 trade deadline in the hopes that his current core will lead Anaheim to the playoffs in 2012-13.
