Foster probably won't face a suspension

It looks like Kurtis Foster won't be suspended or fined for boarding St. Louis' Chris Porter on Thursday.
Foster received a game misconduct and Porter had a cut on his head that required stitches. "It was just bad circumstances," Foster said. "I wasn't trying to hurt him. I wasn't trying to hit him in the head." Foster hasn't heard from the NHL yet about the possibility of further disciplinary actions and given that the Devils are scheduled to play on Saturday afternoon, it seems unlikely that the NHL will take action at this point.
