ESPN draft analyst David Thorpe believes Kyrie Irving projects as a potential All-Star but not an MVP candidate.
Thorpe notes that Irving is not on the same level as former No. 1 overall picks like Derrick Rose, John Wall or Blake Griffin. But from a fantasy perspective, Irving's NBA-ready jumper is intriguing. He shot 46.2 from 3-point range this season and should have no problem expanding that range to the NBA line.
