Ellis cannot beat lowly Islanders

Dan Ellis was good however Tampa Bay fell 2-1 to the Islanders in overtime on Wednesday.
Ellis was good in this contest, turning aside 26 of 28 shots. He could not stop the talented John Tavares in overtime, allowing Tampa Bay to secure just one point on the night. Ellis has been battling Mike Smith all season and Wednesday's affair may have given him a leg up. He is now 9-5-5 on the season.
