Spurs coach Gregg Popovich feels that Manu Ginobili hasn't been praised enough for playing through a sprained elbow in the first round.
"It's really been hard to watch the playoffs and have them make Rondo out like Willis Reed," Popovich said. "Manu couldn't even play the first game (against Memphis), and we probably shouldn't have played him again." Pop pointed out how crucial Manu's health is to the Spurs' success, and noted that Tim Duncan was also injured and out of rhythm when the playoffs began. The Spurs, like the Celtics, need to surround their aging core with youth, athleticism, and depth.
