Andrew Bynum cuts out body fat with boxing
Andrew Bynum - C - Los Angeles Lakers

Andrew Bynum has eliminated a good portion of body fat this summer by boxing with the conditioning trainer for Manny Pacquiao, Alex Ariza.

Said Bynum, "Because of my [previously injured] knees, I'm keeping pressure off them rather than loading up the squat rack with weights. It's remarkable. I'm still 285 [pounds], but the body fat is gone and what Alex calls functional muscle is stronger." All of this sounds positive, and at this time of the year so does just about everything, but it doesn't make his knees any less risky next season.
