Brewers claimed RHP Marco Estrada off waivers from the Nationals.
He was designated for assignment after the Nationals signed Tyler Walker last week. Estrada, 26, tallied a 6.14 ERA in four appearances (one start) as a September call-up with Washington last season, but was impressive with Triple-A Syracuse, finishing 9-5 with a 3.63 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 27 games (22 starts). It's not a surprise to see another team take a chance on someone who has proven that they can throw strikes with regularity.
