Brewers sign Schoeneweis to minors deal

Brewers signed LHP Scott Schoeneweis to a minor league contract.
He'll also receive an invite to Spring Training. Schoeneweis, 36, posted a 7.13 ERA in 24 innings with the Diamondbacks last season, but it was pretty much meaningless considering the tragic circumstances surrounding his wife's death. He's someone to root for this spring. Schoeneweis would earn $800,000 if he makes the team's roster.
