Luol Deng can't make injury worse by playing

Luol Deng has been told by doctors that he cannot make his wrist injury worse by playing with it.
The ligament in Deng's left (non-shooting) wrist is torn and there's nothing he can do about it now. It will remain a story throughout the year, but opting against surgery allows Deng to gut it out. He has a chance to make his return either Wednesday or Thursday.
