Which teams are bowl eligible?

  WHO'S BOWL ELIGIBLE? (THROUGH 12/11 GAMES)

There are 120 Football Bowl Subdivision teams, 70 of which will play in a bowl game. Teams must have won at least six games against FBS teams OR at least five games against FBS teams and one against a FCS team to be eligible to play. (Note: NCAA has option to waive last item if not enough teams had qualified to fill all of the slots)

x-Schedule consisted of 13 games. Team must have won at least seven games against FBS teams OR at least six games against FBS teams and one against a FCS team. All other teams played a 12-game schedule.

y-Played 2 games against FCS teams.

Note: USC is on probation and ineligible to play in a bowl.
